Description:
Empowers youth and community cooperatives to launch micro-enterprises in recycling, composting, and upcycling. Includes technical training, seed funding, and access to waste-to-energy innovation hubs.
Key Activities:
- Community recycling campaigns
- Establishment of local buy-back centers
- Training in upcycling and circular product design
Youth Empowerment and Skills Development
Green Futures Youth Academy
Description:
Offers accredited training in green economy skills such as sustainable construction, digital skills for climate jobs, agro-processing, and social entrepreneurship.
Key Activities:
- Technical & vocational education for NEET youth
- Internship placements with eco-enterprises
- Entrepreneurship bootcamps & hackathons
- Leadership development forums
Just Energy Transition
Community Clean Energy Access Program (CCEAP)
Description:
Provides training and implementation support for community-based renewable energy systems such as solar microgrids, household biogas, and clean cookstoves.
Key Activities:
- Installation of pilot solar systems in schools and clinics
- Community gasification demo units (e.g. biomass)
- Energy literacy workshops
- Support for local energy entrepreneurs and technicians
Agriculture and Bio-Beneficiation
SmartAgri & BioFarm Development Program
Description:
Supports smallholder farmers in adopting regenerative practices, climate-smart technologies, and adding value through bio-processing and local agro-enterprise.
Key Activities:
- Farmer field schools on regenerative practices
- Training in agro-processing and storage
- Bio-fertilizer and composting pilot sites
- Market access facilitation for sustainable produce
Climate Change Resilience
ClimateGuard Community Resilience Program
Description:
Builds capacity of local communities to adapt to climate change via nature-based solutions, early warning systems, and participatory risk mapping.
Key Activities:
- Local climate adaptation action plans
- Training in disaster preparedness and response
- Ecosystem-based adaptation (reforestation, wetland restoration)
- Installation of community-level early warning systems
Community Development and Public Health Advancement
EcoHealth Communities Initiative
Description:
Strengthens links between environmental action and public health by addressing sanitation, clean water access, food security, and environmental disease prevention.
Key Activities:
- Community WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) interventions
- Urban gardens for nutrition and food access
- Public health education linked to waste and air pollution
- Local health-environment integration workshops
